Privacy Policy

Due to the recent changes in the data protection law, I wanted to update my privacy policy and explain how my site works and how I use any information you give when you leave comments or interact with my blog. Obviously I want everyone to still enjoy visiting my website but if you have any worries or issues, this page should explain everything. If you do have any other questions, tweet me or drop me an email.

Data, Comments and Your Info

Sometimes you may wish to fill in some of your details on my site, for example if you want to leave a comment on one of my blog posts. Any information you provide (for example, names and email addresses) I do not share and are not stored anywhere. See Disqus for more info.

My website is secure (as you can see by the little lock in the website address).

Cookies

I do use cookies on my site (there’s a pop up as soon as you come on my blog letting you know this). If you don’t know much about the use of cookies please see this website. Cookies are essential for my website and for you to use it effectively. Cookies actually benefit you too, as if you leave a comment, it uses cookies to remember your info instead of you having to re-enter it every time you comment. It also lets me see what things you’re clicking on and enjoying the most by linking to 3rd party applications such as Google Analytics. If you’d rather disable cookies then feel free to – just disable them in your browser.

Other Sites & Links

I use a lot of links on my website, I link to pretty much anything I talk about, from clothes and books to the beauty products I’m using. However, I cannot accept responsibility for the information any of those websites uses when you’re on their sites. Make sure to check out their privacy policies if you’re unsure about anything.

Continued use of my website means that you accept this policy. If you do not wish to accept this policy then please do not use my website. I retain the right to update this policy at any time.
