I was recently sent a lovely little bundle of eyebrow goodies from Eyebrow Queen. This is a brand I previously hadn’t heard of but after doing a bit of research, it turns out a lot of people recommend their eyebrow serum. I was lucky enough to receive their Brow Serum and also their Brow Pro Eyebrow Pencil.
The Brow Serum is packed with ingredients to thicken and lengthen brows and lashes whilst also strengthening them and promoting growth in sparse areas. The ingredients include:
- Myristoyl Pentapeptide 17: enhances the lashes/brows by improving density and length
- Panax ginseng root: has adaptogenic properties and contains antioxidants that nourish the follicles
- Panthenol: attracts moisture from the environment, hydrating the lashes/brows and protecting them against breakages
- Biotin (Vitamin H): helps to improve the health of the lashes/brows by strengthening the keratin
- Lauryl Lysine (Amino acid): conditions the hairs
- Vitis Vinifera (Grape extract): encourages lash and brow growth
- Sodium Hyaluronate: helps to nourish the lash/brow follicles and promote healthy growth
- Euglena Gracilis: to condition the follicles to promote healthy growth
The serum comes in a 5ml hygienic dropper bottle with an applicator brush and is suitable to use on both brows and lashes.
I’ve been using this for a little while now but I believe with these products they need time to benefit your lashes, I think over time I will see an improvement but I haven’t noticed any differences to my eyebrows/lashes just yet apart from that they’re very hydrated.
I think they have designed this product really well – the dropper bottle allows you to disperse the perfect amount and the small brush they also provide allows you to distribute the product well – I like to mainly concentrate this product on my eyebrows and use what’s leftover on my eyelashes.
I’ve never really used a serum on my eyebrows before as I already have quite full eyebrows. I do lose a few hairs here and there when washing my face and I’d like to fill out a few areas that look a little sparse. I think this serum will be a great addition to my routine and I can’t wait to see the benefit from using it.
I’ve been using the Eyebrow Queen Brow Pro Pencil every time I’ve done my make up recently as I find it a really good colour match for me. I have the colour Blonde Neutral which is perfect for warm, darker blondes and light brunettes (which is me), I didn’t want anything too dark and I think this colour works well for me. They have very handy descriptions on their website for each colour – there are seven colours available.
The packaging of this product is so lovely – the gold looks so luxe and makes it look a lot more expensive than it is. The slim pencil has a fine nib on one end which makes it perfect to get a natural brow look – because the nib is so thin you can really control how you want your brows to look. I love these types of pencils as you can get very natural-looking brows.
The other end of the eyebrow pencil contains a spoolie that is very handy to have, making this the perfect product to travel with.
If you’re after a new eyebrow pencil, I would definitely recommend this one. I find I can get my perfect eyebrow shape with this product and it lasts a long time too.
I have really liked what I’ve tried from Eyebrow Queen and would definitely recommend their products – I’ll also do an update in about a months time on how I’m getting on with their serum and what changes I’ve seen!
