Flowers For Valentine’s…

AD – This post contains gifted items.

The wonderful team over at Haute Florist got in touch with me recently asking if I’d like to receive a bouquet to review… Which is basically my dream collaboration… how on earth could I refuse?

I received the absolutely stunning bouquet through the post very quickly, in its secure box which still allows the flowers enough room to breathe. It’s a very luxe box too, which makes you immediately want to open up the package and see what’s inside!

The flowers are packaged oh so well. They’re wrapped in a very luxe-looking black paper and are also suspended in a damp cloth to keep the ends nice and moist, this means they’ll last when they’re in transit and stay lovely and fresh.

The bouquet itself is absolutely stunning, it’s called Royal Romance and consists of 12 Rhodos Roses, paired with Copper Ruscus and Bear Grass. Have you ever seen anything as stunning?!

I think these are the most stunning flowers I have ever received (don’t tell Elliot!). Every little detail is just so lovely and thought out and I love how the simple black packaging allows the bouquet, especially the roses to pop.

Roses are such a classic for Valentine’s Day for a reason, they’re just such a lovely, romantic flower. This bouquet is very aptly named.

Not only do I adore the roses, the extra foliage they come with really sets off the whole bouquet. The copper Copper Ruscus goes with the red roses perfectly and just adds another interesting little element to the whole bunch of flowers.

With your Haute Florist Bouquet, you also get a care card which gives you instructions on how best to care for your flowers to get the most out of them.

I think I’m actually quite good at making bouquets last as I really dedicate that time to looking after them, but mainly it’s all about keeping their water topped up and clean, not allowing any leaves to rest in the water and also re-trimming the stems after a couple of days. It says all this in the care card and also gives extra instructions for certain flowers, such as Tulips, Freesias and Roses (Roses need their guard petals removed, don’t worry it explains it all!).

I can’t really comment on how long the bouquet has lasted yet as I’ve written up this post when I’ve just newly received them. However, I will keep you updated over on my Instagram.

Overall, I have been SO impressed with my experience with Haute Florist. Their bouquets are just gorgeous, the whole process has that special feel about it and the bouquet arrived so quick so I could get longer with my gorgeous flowers! I’ll definitively be ordering from them in future… and there’s a lot of events coming up soon which means I’ll need to!

Have you ordered from Haute Florist before?
