Dermalogica Hydro Masque Exfoliant.

I have been a Dermalogica Skincare influencer for at least a year now and I still get SO excited when they send me things. They are a brand that always have such exciting releases that are so well thought out.

My skin seems to love everything they release so when I saw their New Hydro Masque Exfoliant that smoothes and renews your skin, I couldn’t wait to try it.

This is a five minute masque that contains Exfoliating Bamboo to prime your skin for optimal hydration. It also contains Snow Mushroom that holds 450x it’s weight in water – the perfect ingredient to help infuse your skin with hydration, AntiOxidants and Vitamin D.

It’s a really simple product to use, you pump some of the product into your fingers and massage into your skin until the spheres disappear, then you let it sit for 3-5 minutes before washing off and continuing with your skincare routine.

The packaging makes using this product a dream as it allows you to get exactly the right amount without leaving any in the tube. Packaging like this really pleases me as I hate wasting products, especially when they’re quite luxe like this one.

For me personally, I like to use this product after my first or second cleanse before I continue with my serums and moisturisers.

As it is an exfoliating product you’re only meant to use it once or twice a week, which for me feels like enough. I like the fact that it’s almost a hybrid product between an exfoliating product and a mask that also adds so much moisture and hydration to your skin without a million steps. I like the feel of my skin after too as sometimes exfoliating can dry my skin out but this doesn’t seem to.

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now, once or twice weekly as recommended and I’ve found that I’ve gotten less dry patches on my face than before. I have been drinking more water lately and the weather has been a bit cooler than it has been so I think all these factors have really helped my skin.

The Hydro Masque Exfoliant is also gluten-free, vegan, paraben-free, cruelty-free and contains no artificial fragrances or colours.

If you like to exfoliate but hate that dry, tight feeling that normal exfoliants can make you feel then I definitely recommend this.
