Beauty Kitchen

I was very lucky to recently be sent some products from Beauty Kitchen to try out. For full disclosure, this was through Triyit, which is something I think everyone could do with signing up for! I’m under no obligation to post about these products as always. You might have seen my posts about them on social media but I decided to write a full post.

I was very lucky to be sent a lot of products from them. I’ve tried a lot from this range so I thought I would run down some of my favourites.

Sustainable Beauty Celebrations – 4 pack

These minis are probably one of the cutest products I’ve ever tried. This is basically a collection of four products in their unique packaging, which would be perfect to gift someone or if you just wanted to try various products from the brand before committing, try these! The set includes the Abyssinian Oil Facial Moisture Cream, The free From Wonder Balm and the Seahorse Plankton Beauty Boosting BB Cream and 5 Minute Miracle Mask. I have tried all of these products and I have to say, I was very impressed. I love the Wonder Balm as I find these balms are always handy for putting on dry patches and I love the facial moisture cream for using in the morning before my make up as I find it gives me an even, glowing base. Perhaps one of the least used products from this for me is the Beauty Boosting BB cream. I like a light base with my makeup but I find this doesn’t do much for me.

SPF30 Mineral Shield Daily Primer

Another product that I don’t know whether I’ll keep or not. I like that it adds protection to my skin, however, I find a little goes a long way and it tends to leave my skin very greasy. It also leaves my face looking quite white unless I rub it in a lot. This might not be an issue for most people but I find it a bit of an annoying extra step in my routine which isn’t that quick or convenient.

Natruline Natural Lip Treatment

I love this lip treatment as it leaves my lips feeling soft and moisturised and doesn’t make them feel greasy. I tend to have sensitive, dry lips and this does wonders for them. I like the fact that it’s in a tint as I don’t have to worry about it coming apart in my bag. I always have chapstick to hand and am always constantly putting it on so I know I’ll be using this for the foreseeable future.

A couple of products that I haven’t gotten around to using much just yet are the Night Halo Potent Sleep Mask. I was really interested in this when it first arrived and I have used it once. I find it’s quite a difficult product to use though as it’s quite messy if that makes sense. I think this would be best used on nights when I’m going to wash my hair in the morning. I also normally sleep on my front so I feel like this is going to get all over my pillow before it gets the chance to sink in!

I haven’t managed to use The Cleanser Repair and Protect Shampoo just yet although it sounds lovely and it’s Vegan. I’m saving this for one of those big hair wash/pamper days as it sounds really good at removing the build-up of hair products. I thought this was a face cleanser when it first came through my door and it was only on closer inspection that I realised it was a shampoo! I’m glad I did read the bottle properly now..

I also have the Seahorse Plankton 60 Second Manicure which I need to use as now it’s winter my hands could use a bit of TLC, this product is really interesting as it’s basically like a scrub for your hands. This is something which I bet would be really lovely to use in the shower for a bit of an extra pamper.

What do you think of these products? Have you heard of Beauty Kitchen before? Has anything caught your attention?
