Adding Vitamin-C into My Skincare Routine.

Dermalogica very kindly recently sent me a belated birthday treat in the form of their Biolumin-C Serum. You might have seen over on my Instagram that I also have their Biolumin-C Eye Serum, which I love, so I was very excited to try this.

They also included a cute little mug in the parcel which I am currently enjoying a coffee from!

I wanted to talk a bit about this serum, as you might know, Vitamin-C is really important for your skins regeneration process and helps your body repair damaged skin cells. It can also help prevent and treat ultraviolet (UV) induced damage.

The Dermatologic Biolumin-C Serum is a high-performance Vitamin C serum that works with skin’s own defenses to brighten and firm your skin and it also helps to dramatically reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is formulated with advanced technology to deliver more Vitamin C into the skin. Other ingredients include Lactic Acid (to accelerate cell turnover), Sophora Japonica Flower Extract (to help calm the skin), and Chia Seed Oil (to hydrate and help quench free radicals).

This serum is also Gluten-Free, Vegan, Paraben-Free, Cruelty-Free and doesn’t contain artificial fragrances and colors.

I’ve been using it a couple of days now, and I’m pleased with my first impressions. You can use this twice a day, which I’m going to start doing as it always leaves my skin bright and glowing. It comes with a dropper so it’s easy to use, I just use a small amount and pat it into my skin.

I’ve been trying to look after my skin a little more recently, instead of just my “normal” routine where I cleanse and moisturise. I’ve been adding more serums and hydrating products into the mix instead of just using moisturiser. A big thing that I’ve stopped doing is exfoliating too much, I’ve also been trying to use liquid exfoliators as well instead of scrubs, as they’re much better for your skin.
