A Valentine’s Gift From Nivea.

AD – This post contains gifted items as part of a ongoing brand relationship.

This post is coming slightly late as Valentine’s Day has been and gone for the year already, but a couple of days beforehand I received the most amazing package from Nivea. It was filled with skincare treats for me and a loved one to share on the special day and was the most wonderful surprise.

I do a lot of unboxings over on my Instagram, I also show when I first get PR parcels on there so if you’re curious make sure you’re following me!

Included in the parcel was their Gentle Exfoliating Scrub, MicellAIR Waterproof Make up Remover, and then two of their face masks. I’ve got their Bye Bye Dry Skin Nourishing Face Mask and also their Good Morning Fresh Skin Refreshing Face Mask. Both of these masks contain two applications as it’s been separated into two different masks. I really like this, as a lot of the time masks contain more than one application but you can’t keep it fresh as once it’s open it’s open. This would also make it great for travelling as it’s small enough to pop into a bag.

The Nourishing Face Mask contains Honey and Natural Almond Oil which sounds like it’s going to smell wonderful as well as being really moisturising for your skin. The Good Morning Fresh Skin Refreshing Mask has Natural Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. You leave both these masks on for around 10-15 minutes, which is the perfect amount of time for a lonnng pamper.

I’ve tried the Daily Essentials Gentle Exfoliating Scrub a few times now, I think it’s good as a morning scrub to refresh your skin. It contains Vitamin E and Hydra IQ. This is very very mild and gentle so I think it would be good for everyone, even if you had really sensitive skin. I try not to use scrubs too often on my skin as it’s better not to, but this is lovely to use every once in a while.

I haven’t used the MicellAIR Skin Breathe Professional Make Up Remover yet, but I have confidence that it will remove my heavy eye make up. I really like the normal Nivea Micellar water this one removes even waterproof mascara with no rubbing. I’m having a bit of a make up free week this week, however, I have a hen do at the weekend so I’m sure this will be put to the test then.

Overall I was thrilled to receive this little bundle of products and I cannot wait to share them with someone special. My partner quite likes having a face mask every so often and my skin will definitely need a pamper/refresh after a busy weekend at my sister’s hen do so I’ll definitely be sharing these face masks with her!

What did you get up to for Valentine’s Day? Did you have a pamper?
