It’s no secret that I am the biggest fan of Dermalogica Products. They have done so much for my skin and I use their skincare products every single day. They recently (very kindly) sent me their new Biolunin-C Eye Serum, which I was super excited to receive and try out.
I’m 24 now so I think using more skincare serums and also introducing more products aimed at hydrating my eye area is something I should focus on. As you get older the skin around your eye gets thinner so hydration is everything. It’s all about preventing the early signs of aging instead of noticing the changes and then doing something about it.
Obviously, I have no problem with growing older but I want to continue to look after my skin and this new Dermalogica Serum will really help with that.
This whole concept around this serum is that it’s aimed at giving your eyes a boost. Your eyes literally never stop and the Biolumin-C Serum fights premature skin aging caused by daily eye movement and environmental stress.
This serum contains Vitamin C Complex, Arjun Tree Extract, Tremella Mushroom, and Salvia Hispanica. The key benefit of this serum is that it Brightens, reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles and firms your eye area, as well as adding hydration for smooth looking, healthy skin.
It’s also Gluten-Free, Vegan, Paraben-Free, Cruelty-Free and doesn’t contain Artificial Fragrances or Colours.
I’ve been using it since the weekend, so not long at all however, my first impressions are really positive. You only need a really small little dab of product which you can then massage/pat gently into your eye. I always go quite high up when I use it and also do my brow bone as well. The consistency of the product is really lovely, not too thin or thick and doesn’t “sit” on your skin at all.
I really like the fact that it’s quite cold when I first put it on too, perhaps I should keep it in the fridge! I’ll keep you updated with any progress with this product, but I definitely think it’s filled a much-needed gap in my skincare routine and I’m looking forward to having less tired-looking, brighter eyes!
What are your thoughts on this new Dermalogica release? Do you use an eye serum?
