This post contains gifted products as part of an ongoing collaboration with Nivea uk.
As many many (many) of you will know by now, I am part of the Nivea Family which means I get sent some pretty fantastic packages from them which I get to share with you. They have recently released some new products for their Urban Skincare range and I’ve been trying out some of them, I’ve been so impressed with this range!
I was sent three products from their range which are new. Along with this, they sent me a classic, their Daily Essentials Light Moisturising Day Cream (SPF 15). I’ve used their moisturisers for years and find them so hydrating but gentle on the skin. This one is no different and something I particularly like is that they have SPF 15 in them which means I’m protected against the sun. This is definitely a staple of mine at the moment (at any time of year!) as I tend to go make up free when the weather gets warmer.
Onto the other products, they also sent me their Biodegradable Cleansing Wipes which are for All Skin Types and have Organic Aloe Vera in them. I’m not really the biggest fan of facial wipes however they are sometimes quite handy to have (like for freshening up or for travelling). These have quite a strong scent and are 100% made from Plant fibres. I’ve used these once so far to make up my make up before further cleansing and they did a good job at removing all my mascara which is normally quite tough (as it likes to stay put). These also seem suitable for sensitive skin.
I’ve been using their 3-in-1 Urban skin Detox Clay Wash in the mornings usually to prep my skin for the day ahead. This is a Wash, a Scrub and a Mask all in one and I know some people can be a bit harsh about multitasking products but personally, I love them. This Clay based product Deeply Cleanses and Purifies and it also contains Black Rice and Green Tea extract so it’s packed with goodness for your skin.
Last but not least and probably my favourite product out of the bunch is their Peel Off Urban Skin Detox Mask which also contains Black Rice and Green Tea extract and leaves skin mattified and radiant. I used this at the weekend when I was having a pamper and what I love about this mask is that it’s quick and easy to apply and not messy at all. It left my skin feeling refreshed and clean. Sometimes I think peel off masks can be quite drying but I didn’t find that with this one, I actually can’t wait to use it again.
What do you think of these products? Have you tried much from Nivea’s Urban Skin before?
