So with Spring being officially here (I mean kinda I haven't seen the sun for about three days now, we just have endless rain) and me being in desperate need of some new make up I thought why not treat myself to a little Superdrug Haul. Most of the stuff that I ordered were make up bits that I have been lusting after for ages and also most of these products were also super cheap, some because of various sales and some just because the brands know how to do beauty on a budget. I think my own order (including free shipping) cost just over £20. And considering how much I got that was a complete bargain. Also, sneaky spoiler alert but I did pick up more than one of certain items to be included as part of a giveaway coming soon.. So keep an eye out!
There were two brands that basically made up my whole basket, Tanya Burr Cosmetics and Make Up Revolution. I have tried products from both of these brands before and was super impressed with what I've used so far. There was a few items that Ive had my eye on so I decided to treat myself as I haven't bought any new make up in ages.
Tanya Burr Cosmetics -
I've tried a few things from Tanya before, mainly her Face Illuminator which was my favourite thing to use one summer as it just added the nicest glow. I've always liked the look of her eyeshadow palettes and as they're currently on offer at Superdrug I picked up the My Escape palette. On first impressions this looks like just my kind of palette, containing four eyeshadows, it's very earthy and natural and I cannot wait to use it. Along with this, I also picked up the Chasing The Sun Bronze Illuminating Powder. I'm not quite sure whether this is a highlight or bronzer (or both) but it is just the most gorgeous product ever. I also picked up the Golden Girl Cheek Illuminator (as I'm all about them glowy products and this was only 99p!) and the Milkshake Lip Balm as I am can never have too many lip balms. It seems that you can't really get that many of her products that easily anymore (I would have loved to try the Mascara and Eyeliner she brought out) but I think that all her products are gorgeous and I can't wait to give them a whirl.
Make Up Revolution -
Again, this is a brand that I have a good few products from and I have been buying from them for years. It's only recently with all their amazing new releases that they've gotten the hype and recognition that they deserve. I already have the Conceal and Define concealer which I love (was going to do a post on these but not sure whether to now as everyone and their sister's cat seems to have? Let me know if you do still wanna hear my thoughts though!) but I decided to pick up one of their new Fast Base Foundation Sticks (shade F1). I wanted to get a few more of these, as I've seen someone contour with a darker shade which worked amazingly but I was ordering online and didn't want to get the complete wrong shade.. so I just ordered the lightest one they had. I am super pale so I'm sure this will be a good match for me. I honestly cannot wait to try this. I think it would perhaps work really well with a make up sponge but all I have is make up brushes at the moment so we'll see how this goes. As well as this I also picked up a whole bronzing palette (All About Bronze) and one of their baked Blushers in Loved the best.
Buying some new make up bits has honestly made me so excited to put my make up on in the morning and I cannot wait to experiment with all my new picks! Has anything here caught your eye? What's the last make up item you bought?
