November Goals

Can anyone believe that it’s November already? I feel like most of us at this time of year are either embracing the fact that it’s now basically Christmas or complaining about how fast the year has gone, I’m definitely the former..┬áNovember is a packed month for me, the end of the year always seems to be the busiest as everything tends to happen at once.

01. It’s my Boyfriend’s birthday this coming weekend, the first birthday that we’ve had together and he’ll be turning Taylor Swift (I’m feeling twenty twooooo). Although it’s not a “big” birthday I’m determined to make it as special as possible especially as I have to work on his actual birthday. I’ve got his presents wrapped and hidden already, balloons ready to blow up, a cosy night in and dinner for two planned and we’re also going for breakfast with some family. We’re keeping the Sunday free but this is our main day together so no doubt we’ll do something fun. I also want to make the biggest cake you’ve ever seen so keep an eye out on insta stories for that.

02. I’ve had a bit of an identity/job/life crisis and have taken some time off from work (I’ve reduced my hours) and am currently trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. After finishing education and dropping out of uni, I’ve been a bit stuck and I’m especially feeling this recently where all the “training” that I’ve done is creative and I don’t just want to work in an office. My boyfriend has also changed jobs and I’ve been enjoying getting up super early with him and starting my day before seven, this has given me a lot of time to reflect and also to work on my blog. If I’m honest I would love to be self employed and concentrate on my blog as my career. I am however still very small in the blogging world and bills won’t accept me trying my hardest as payment. I have a post about dropping out of uni and also a life lately post which might be worth reading if you’re anything like me and don’t know what you’re doing. If anyone has any advice then feel free to contact me.

03. With all the extra time that I now have (see above) I want to make the most of it and not feel like I’ve not achieved anything. I want to use this time to get organised as before you know it, it’ll be Christmas and then the New Year! I want to spend my time going for cosy wintery walks, getting and wrapping Christmas presents, drinking hot chocolate with whipped cream and also spending time with family. I want to make the most of this season. I booked tickets to see Legally Blonde the Musical all the way back in January and we eventually get to see it this month which I am so excited about. I think I’ve annoyed my family enough already by singing all the songs as loud as I can.

04. I’ve got a weekend away coming up and we’re going to Amsterdam! This has been a long time coming as this was planned and booked ages ago. I cannot wait to get away and explore a new city with my favourite people! I’ve wanted to go to Amsterdam for ages now and am already trying to plan the whole trip so if you have any recommendations then please let me know!

So thats my November! I hope yours is as exciting and fully booked as mine! Follow me on Instagram if you want to keep up to date as this is where I’m most active but you can also Tweet me or follow on Bloglovin.
