As some of you might know, I’m currently working with Botanics as a Brand Ambassador and because of this, they’ve sent me some new goodies to try out! I have really enjoyed working with Botanics over the last two months, I’ve found some great products which I love and will continue to use for a long time and I have the experimental nature of testing their new products out. When I received this package I was so pleasantly surprised as I wasn’t told I would be getting these, so it was a really lovely surprise package to open.
I was sent the All Bright Refreshing Eye Roll-On and also the Radiant Youth (With Ginkgo) Refining Microdermabrasion Polish. I’ve tried a few bits from the All Bright collection before so I knew that this product would be good however I was surprised at just how much I would now rely on the Eye Roll-On. It is the nicest thing to use that refreshes your whole eye area, I find that keeping it in a cold bathroom (or the fridge!) is the best place as on the bottom of the product, it’s got a roller ball which is almost like a metal material so when it gets cold, it is LOVELY to use on your eyes. It is SO cooling and I think this has actually helped my under eye area and reduced my dark circles (always a bonus!).
The Microdermabrasion Polish is another product which is completely new to me, I haven’t even used anything from the Radiant Youth Collection before so I was super excited to give this a go. I read into the product (and tested a bit on the back of my hand) and I knew that this is something that my sensitive skin would either love or really really hate as it has really tiny fine grains within the polish to rid your skin of any imperfections, dry skin etc. I knew that this product could be really harsh because of the word “microdermabrasion” however I’ve now used this a few times and I have to say that I haven’t found that my skin has reacted to it at all. This is the kind of polish that you can ONLY use once a week as it is too harsh to be used daily like most scrubs. I have the All Bright Purifying Face Scrub from Botanics and this is completely different to that. That scrub is good for daily use and getting rid of dry skin, you could use that 2-3 times a week however you would be seriously overworking your skin if you tried to use this Microdermabrasion Polish that much, this is a once a week, proper pamper time, skin-polishing treat for your skin. If you want to read my blog post about the first Botanics products I received, you can here.
Both these products have been introduced to my skincare routines and have fitted in nicely, I love the eye roll on and use it daily (probably too much!). I love how much of a collection of Botanics products I’ve got now and I have seen a BIG improvement in my skin after using a range of Botanics products. I’m really enjoying discovering new favourite products with the more that I try and I strongly encourage everyone to go and have a look at these products! You can currently save 1/3 across the entire range at Boots (in store and online) so you should definitely try them out!
I would love to know what you think of this brand and whether you’ve tried any products from them and if you have any recommendations of any products of theirs that I NEED to try. Don’t forget you can follow me on Instagram and bloglovin to keep updated!
